Riding On Angels' Wings is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose goal is to strengthen, encourage and educate physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioral disabled individuals through
the love and assistance of equine.
ROAW was founded in 2002 by Bette Shipley, a mother of a child with Cerebral Palsy and Congenital Heart Defects. After seeing the physical attributes riding
horse had on her son, DJ, she desired to offer therapeutic horseback riding to
other children with disabilities. The program received its non profit 501(c)3 status
in 2006.
Thank you for your interest in Riding On Angels' Wings! Please contact us if you would like more information or have a child that would benefit from our program.
