An internship with Riding On Angels' Wings is broad-based and offers participation and insight into a variety of areas. The following is an over-view of what you could expect to participate in:

Spring Internship (March-May)
This part of the internship allows you to experience more of the Administrative work of the program such as:

Public Relations
Budget & finance
Future planning
Photography & video
Grant Writing
Volunteer recruitment
Registration
Understand a variety of disabilities
Stable management
Facility repairs
Rider & volunteer scheduling
Special Olympics

Summer Internship (June-August)
This part of the internship allows you to experience the program "in action."

Horse handling
Sidewalking with the riders
Stable management
Facility repairs
Fundraising
Rider & volunteer scheduling
Assist Disability Coordinator in programming
Learn more about special needs children & their disabilities
Assist therapists in the arena
Exercise horses
Special events such as parades and/or shows
Special Olympics
